We've started Term 2 with a focus on Anzac Day. Firstly, we read 'Simpson and his Donkey' by Mark Greenwood and France Lessac.
We made a beautiful wreath to lay during the school's ANZAC service. Two of our students were given the very important job of carrying and laying the wreath. They both took their roles seriously and did a great job.
We joined Rooms 2 and 3 in making a display of work to be showcased at the ANZAC service. Our contributions included: a hand wreath (one on left) made by the whole class, individual poppies and 6 pieces of writing complete with illustrations. Our chosen work samples came from Riley, Taj, Ashley, Tom and Madeline.
